James Cameron has hinted that the environment of Avatar 3 will be larger and more sinister. The director, whose Avatar sequel is breaking records at the box office around the world, has promised that the third installment will “visit new worlds” and introduce a new tribe – Ash People.
Avatar 3 Introduces Fire-Wielding Na’vi- Ash People
Cameron recently discussed the Ash People, a fire Na’Vi tribe, in an interview with Collider. James Cameron has stated that, In Avatar 3, the audience will now get to see a darker side of the Na’vi– fire-wielding residents of the planet, whom he called the ‘Ash People’. “The fire will be represented by the ‘Ash People.’ I want to show the Na’vi from another angle because, so far, I have only shown their good sides. In the early films, there are very negative human examples and very positive Na’vi examples. In Avatar 3, we will do the opposite.”
Avatar Last Parts Will Be The Best
According to the director, Avatar 3 (due out on December 20, 2024) and subsequent installments will be “the best” in the series and they would “visit new worlds while continuing the story of the main protagonists.”
“I can say that the last parts will be the best. The others were an introduction, a way to set the table before serving the meal. But, obviously, everything will depend on how Avatar 2 is received if it finds its audience,” he added.
In a separate interview with Gizmodo, producer Jon Landau revealed that the franchise will introduce Earth, which will “open Neytiri’s eyes.” Landau said, “Just like you’re defined by the choices you make in life, not all humans are bad. Not all Na’vi are good. And that’s the case here on Earth. And we want to expose Neytiri to that.”
