In this day and age, where everything is all about over-the-top visuals and fantasy adventures and all that, it’s nice to be reminded of an old-fashioned romantic film like “The Notebook” from 2004, which is one of those movies that just doesn’t get made anymore. But we’re also fortunate that there are movies like The Notebook that were made, and you might want to see them, as they capture that feeling that you see in The Notebook.

If there is one movie on this list that will break your heart, it is The Fault in Our Stars, and it is certainly one of the best movies like The Notebook. To write a review of this film would require me to think deeply about it again AKA to make myself cry, which I’ll pass on. I’ve had enough of that tonight already. Maybe I’ll write a review eventually; maybe I won’t… all I can say right now is SEE THIS FILM! – Eli Hayes, Letterboxd.

La La Land is personally my favorite movie of all time. A musical masterpiece that conveys what it’s like to be in love, and how it feels to be trying to reach your dreams, while you’re in love, and with all that, you see the Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone shine all throughout, with oscar-winning direction by Damien.I’ve taken all of your criticisms into account and have determined that you’re all wrong. – Sam Van Hallgren, Letterboxd.Love this movie more than I love myself. – kársten, Letterboxd.

Tom, on the other hand, thinks he finally discovered his soul mate. Will Summer realise that she is the one after 500 days? This may be the most realistic depiction of a relationship ever portrayed on screen..
