Edward Scissorhands (1990)
Atop a hill in a fortress, an inventor tends to his greatest invention: Edward, a nearly finished human being. The designer unfortunately did not live long enough to finish Edward’s hands, so the poor guy is stuck with metal snips. Ever since, he’s been on his own, until a nice lady named Peg eventually stumbles upon him and takes him in. Even while he is initially accepted by everyone, things start to go downhill for him and the group very quickly.
The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
Halloween Town’s pumpkin king, Jack Skellington, is tired of the same old celebrations. After visiting Christmas Town, he returns to Halloween Town determined to stage a Christmas celebration in place of Halloween, but the resident bats, ghouls, and goblins just can’t get the spirit of the holiday down.
Mickey’s Christmas Carol (1983)
It’s a retelling of a Charles Dickens classic, however this time Mickey Mouse is the star appeal. When Christmastime rolls around, Uncle Scrooge McDuck is visited by his late partner’s ghost and three other ghosts.
The Santa Clause (1994)
Scott Calvin is furious to learn that his ex-wife Laura and her husband Neil have been trying to convince their 6-year-old son Charlie that Santa Claus doesn’t exist. On Christmas Eve, while reading “The Night Before Christmas,” Scott is visited by a special guest. Inadvertently knocking Santa off his roof on Christmas Eve, he finds himself mysteriously recruited to fill Santa’s shoes. He puts on weight, his hair becomes white, and he has an insatiable appetite for junk food. He has accepted it but must keep it hidden from his skeptical family.
A Christmas Carol (2009)
Another reinterpretation of a classic Charles Dickens story. The ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future visit miser Ebenezer Scrooge on Christmas Eve to show him the truth about his life, including the possibilities he missed as a young man, the cruelty he has shown as an adult, and the grim future he faces if he does not alter his ways. Scrooge must face the consequences of his own history of bitterness and cruelty and choose between death and redemption.
