Lady, a Cocker Spaniel, is a spoiled dog that lives in a posh neighbourhood. When Lady’s owners, Jim Dear and Darling, conceive a baby, everything changes. Later, Aunt Sarah and her two cunning Siamese cats arrive. Lady is put outside with a muzzle on her mouth because people think she is mean. Tramp saves the day for her. He and the lady try to flee away together, but the dogcatcher catches up with them.
Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
When Santa Claus is too tipsy to participate in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, an elderly guy named Kris Kringle steps in. A huge success, he is soon a regular fixture at the flagship location. When he claims to be Santa Claus, much to the amazement of both customers and staff, he finds himself in court, where his sanity and, more significantly, his veracity are tested.
Edward Scissorhands (1990)
Atop a hill in a fortress, an inventor tends to his greatest invention: Edward, a nearly finished human being. While You Were Sleeping (1995)
Lucy operates a ticket counter at a Chicago train station. A traveler named Peter, on whom she has a crush, is saved from certain death one day. In the hospital, a mix-up leads to her being mistaken for his fiancée while he lies in a coma. As a result of hearing this, his family welcomes her into their home and cares for her as if she were a member of the family all along.
