Every person living on the earth faces hair loss. It’s a common hair condition that recurs in part of our lives. We try many remedies to stop hair loss which include changing the shampoo, applying essential oils, and trying home remedies. But, does that solve your hair loss issue? Neither yes nor no.
As far as my knowledge goes, the actual fact of hair loss primarily depends on a person’s lifestyle and what he intakes every day. A majority of people are unaware that what they consume can harm their hair. These are the people who are more likely to suffer from severe hair loss. However, that’s not the only thing.
DO NOT DO THIS
Don’t think changing hair shampoo will stop hair loss. It may help a little bit. Yet, it isn’t a permanent solution for your hair fall. As I mentioned, your hair loss is more affected by the foods you consume.
We all believe that our hair is an essential part of our beauty, so we comb it daily to keep it looking good. However, do you know what you first need to be aware of?
- Do you check the shampoo ingredients before purchasing it?
- Are you using gels or hair waxes on your hair daily?
- Many people don’t like to oil their hair, are you among them too?
There are lots of factors that are associated with hair. In case you were wondering, what happens if you don’t eat healthy food, it is simple, your hair starves. As a result of vitamin deficiency, every hair strand gradually dies, loses its strength, and ultimately falls out.
In terms of shampoo you are using, or waxes and gels. They contribute to hair loss as well. Let’s see 7 ways to stop hair loss.
1. Avoid Heating Products ASAP
Excessive heat will make your hair more vulnerable and your actual hair loss condition aggravates. Moreover, heat can break down the keratin, which affects the strength and texture of the hair. Consequently, it will lead to drastic hair loss. You may use products like a hair straightener and blow dryer to mould your hair. But you may not be aware of how much they do affect your hair strands. It’s like jeopardizing your hair life by overusing heating products. Therefore, it is highly recommended to avoid heating products, even if it is acceptable to use them 1-2 times per month.
2. Conditioning
The conditioner is just as essential as the shampoo. It’s a post-shampoo treatment that your hair seeks. A lot of people believe a stereotype that ” Using conditioner leads to hair loss”.
However, it’s absolutely debunked & bogus. The conditioner fulfills your hair desires & needs. Conditioning the hair makes it smooth, strong, and shiny, which you will definitely notice after washing. Above all of that, Conditioner strengthens the hair shaft, reduces split ends, prevents breakage, and ultimately stops hair loss.
We asked several people if they ever used conditioner. The majority responded, “We don’t really use that much, mentioning it could lead to hair loss”, but that’s only one of the myths people believe. Conversely, It’s safe & good for hair from a scientific standpoint. Though, It is possible that you aren’t using your conditioner correctly sometimes, which could be the reason you are believing it isn’t good for your hair.
Here’s how to apply a conditioner properly to the hair?
Once you rinse out all the shampoo from your hair :
- Take some adequate amount of conditioner on your palm according to your hair length
- Just bear this in mind, Apply conditioner only at the ends of hair strands.
- This is where most people commit a big blunder: DO NOT APPLY IT ON SCALP or else, you’ll see the negative effects of the conditioner
- Leave it about 3-5 mins
- Rinse out with water properly without any residue ( Important )

3. Oiling
Oiling plays a fundamental role in reproducing healthy hair and preventing hair loss.
Yes, it has a ton of benefits for your hair. Oiling is a very effective home remedy that promotes hair growth by distributing oils naturally along the hair shaft. Even if you have frizzy or dry hair, it makes your hair manageable by making it grow healthier, nourishing, and improving the quality of the hair shaft.
You can easily massage your scalp by yourself using your fingertips. Simply move your fingers in circular motions. It unclogs your hair follicles and stops hair loss. Nevertheless, I believe there are plenty of people with oily hair like me. There is no need to use a lot of oil. Those with oily hair should never apply oil directly to their scalps.
However, 1 time a week is sufficient for oily hair and 2-3 times for normal hair and frizzy hair. Essential coconut oil, almond oil, and castor oil can be used.
Personally, I use Castor oil + Coconut oil Combination. It is perfect for me and helps me to regrow my hair.

4. Don’t Over brush
Some people spend big time brushing their hair too much. The fact is over-brushing can cause more breakage and damages your hair strand. Over-brushing causes friction to the hair which will result in more damage and causes spilt ends. It usually emerges when a person’s hair is wet because many people tend to comb when their hair is wet. That’s the only condition when your hair gets weak and starts falling out. Therefore, you should avoid brushing wet hair, and especially people with weak hair should be careful when brushing. Brush gently.

6. Use Free SLS and Parabens Shampoo
Do you really know about SLS and Parabens? Which I teased at the beginning. I’ve asked you if you check the ingredients of shampoo when you’re purchasing it?
SLS means Sodium Laureate Sulphate. It is a chemical used to produce and form lather in shampoos. A lot of companies include this ingredient in their shampoos to form a great amount of lather. It is also incorporated in a number of products such as bar soaps, detergents, shampoos, and possibly facewash. Using SLS and parabens shampoos strip-outs our natural oils from hair which also means leading to hair loss and deteriorating hair condition. The majority of companies use them just for producing much lather and fragrances. There are brands that provide you free SLS and parabens shampoos like Biotique, Wow, and Khadi in India. So in order to stop hair loss to some extent. Use them as quickly as possible.

7. Don’t Overuse Wax and gel
One good thing about applying waxes and gels is you can style your hair and shaping your hair like what you want. Besides that, is there any kind of advantage? No
Using excessive of gels will definitely vitiate your hair adversely. Hair gels contain a high concentration of alcohol. It dries out your hair and makes your hair weak and leading to hair loss straightly. Even you’re using hair waxes. Never apply cheap waxes you get in stores. They are just a piece of trash ruins your hair quality.
If you really want to apply hair gel and want healthy hair. Use quality products. By that, you may stop hair loss. Otherwise, your hair will become fragile and hence, causes hair loss.
